Minutes: Tina made a motion to accept the February 26, 2004 minutes. Glennice seconded. Unanimous
-The March 7, 2004 trip to Berkshire East went well and made a profit of $30.00
-Both of the Red Sox Trips are selling extremely well with a combined total of only 14 tickets left.
-Menís basketball has requested to use the gym on Wednesday evenings from 7-9:00P.M. They already are scheduled for Sunday evenings from 7-9:00P.M.They pay for gym time. This should be fine as long as there isnít a conflict with town sports using the gym.
-The coaches for the 7/8 boys have requested to use the gym for practice time. This is acceptable as long as they work around the indoor soccer and baseball schedule.
-Baseball coaches have not yet been chosen. Once placement of teams has been completed then the coaches will be chosen.
-Coaches have been getting sizes from their teams for the new soccer uniforms. Jay will place the order with Advantage Athletic on Friday 3/12/04.
-The Rauscher Family has requested that the donation money received in memory of Devon shall be donated towards the pool fund at Memorial Park.
-The gate on the road to the park shall remain locked until the fields dry out to prohibit anyone from using them.
Coaches Code of Conduct:
Tina made a motion to accept the Coaches Code of Conduct. Glennice seconded. Unanimous
Parentís/Spectators Code of Conduct:
This form was reviewed and revised for further approval.
Glennice made a motion to accept the Mission Statement. Tina seconded. Unanimous
Soccer Coaches Week:
MYSA will be running a soccer coaches education program tentatively scheduled for August 23-27 at TWB. RAH is to pay for the Hampden coaches to attend. Doug and Noel have approved of this program at TWB. Chris is to set this up with MYSA.
Soccer Fields Set-up:
Glennice made mention of the possibility of future fields at GM. Also mentioned was the possibility of the District doing the lawn care for the fields. Jay will check to find out how often the fields will be maintained to ensure they are in good shape for any games.
