HAMPDEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE

APRIL 1, 2003

Present: K. Pessolano, B. deSousa, P. Nossal, M. Crowley, R. Fadus

The meeting began at 6:00 pm.

Discussions:

The budget was reviewed in its entirety and a 5% reduction in accounts would be the result of an override failing to pass. It was decided any line item less than $1,000 would not be affected along with the Fire Department as they are volunteer and this is a safety issue.

The committee voted unanimously to recommend the budget at $7,558,174 subject to a positive 2 ½% override of $344,569.

Vouchers: Clerk’s payroll voucher for the month of March was signed.

Transfers: Legal Advertising $407.21 was signed.

Meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm.
