Abacus Sports (basketballs), Gateway Corp. (Computer), Glennice Flynn (DVD player)
Pool:
Jim to send copies of all paperwork involving the pool to Gary Swanson. Still questionable as to the status of the pool for the summer. Mass. Law requires certification for a tester with the proper equipment.
Sports:
Baseball signups have gone well. Numbers appear to be up. Softball turnout on the low side.
Camp:
Applications were sent out to Counselors, CIT’s, & Lifeguards from last summer to see who will return. An ad will be put into the Reminder for the special camp guide for the first publication.
Events:
Still plenty of space for the upcoming trips to Foxwoods Casino and Lion King. Have had calls from flyers posted in various locations in town. The date for The Boston Red Sox trip is July 27,2002 vs. Baltimore.
Playground:
The playground is to be installed April 19 & 20,2002. Andrea to order 2/28/02. Jeff Sullivan wanted the playground in temporarily until school addition was completed however Dr. Play said NO because this would nullify the warranty. Landscape timbers to be put in at installation but to be replaced by the builder at completion of the addition. Jeff Sullivan to supply dumpster. Mike D’Amours to donate cement. Still in need of a backhoe. Park and Rec Dept. to supply hot dogs, popcorn and soda. Glennice suggested having Dunkin Donuts supply donuts.
Misc.
--All light switches were accidentally shut off at GM, which shut off refrigerator and milk spoiled
--The Track and Field Program is scheduled at Minnechaug track beginning April 24,2002 running for 5 weeks. It will be from 5:00-6:30PM. The cost will be $25.00.
--CPA meeting is scheduled for March 12,2002. Jim was asking for any suggestions/ideas for use of the land.
--Jay still working on estimates for the gym floor at TWB.
