Pat called the meeting to order at 8:35 AM.
The minutes of June 8, 2004 were accepted as written.
The Treasurer’s report was accepted as presented.
Director’s report was accepted as presented.
Old Business: Shirley Gouvan was not present to give an update on the travel programs. Rita had no update on the sign; Arlene graciously volunteered to take over the follow up on the sign.
New Business:
Virginia presented information on a Food Bank program available to seniors who qualify by income. Virginia and Bill Killian will go to Indian Orchard on Friday to see how the process works. We will have more information for the next meeting.
Arlene gave an update of the accomplishments and aims of the group of building volunteers that she leads. She gave a written list (attached).
Pat will be attending an Agency on Aging meeting on August 24th.
Rita has signed up for a grant seminar. Arlene suggested that she investigate the possibility of a grant for the front door automatic opener.
