Meeting called to order at 9:00 am. James Smith, Mark Barba, Kathy Pessolano and Duane Mosier present.

 

Liquor license vote

Motion made by James Smith to adopt the Mass General Law Chapter 141, Sections 31 and 32, of the Acts of 2003 allowing the sale of alcohol on Sunday with a fee to be established. Seconded by Mark Barba. VOTE: James Smith yes, Mark Barba yes, Duane Mosier yes.

 

Highway department grievance

Board agreed to meet with the highway union as a result of a request submitted by union steward.  This is an exception and is not to be considered precedent setting as outlined in the letter of request by the Union.  

 

Private Ways

James Smith made a motion that the Town of Hampden will charge landowners a fee for all work done by the Town on Private Ways.  Motion seconded by Mark Barba. Vote Jim Smith Yes, Mark Barba Yes, Duane Mosier yes. 

 

Meeting with Kathy Pessolano, Chairman of the Advisory Board to review projected revenues and goals for this fiscal budget year.

James left meeting 10:45 am.

Motion to adjourn by Mark Barba and seconded by Duane Mosier at 11:55 am.
