Selectmen’s Meeting
A special meeting was called to order by Duane Mosier at 7:31 p.m. in the Town House auditorium. Jim Smith was also present. Mark Barba was unable to attend. Art Booth, representing the VFW, was present.
Jacques Begin of 191 Bennett Road, Hampden Ma: Jacques’ son, Dan, presented the town with a certificate and flag that he had flown over Iraq. Dan expressed his gratitude to the town for flying the flags in support of the troops. Other Begin family members and friends were present as well as Channel 22 News.
At 8:05 PM the meeting reconvened in the Selectmen’s office. Jim Smith made a motion to alter the previous janitorial proposal to three (3) hours a day. Duane Mosier seconded and passed unanimously. A letter to this effect will be forwarded to the Treasurer for payroll adjustments.
Meeting adjourned at 8:25 PM.
