MINUTES
December 19, 2002			Town House
7:30 P.M			625 Main Street
Roll Call:	The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Board of Selectmen James D. Smith, Duane Mosier, and Mark Barba were in attendance.

Discussion on handling of clothing monies paid to officers. If no receipts are provided then the additional clothing allowance monies should be added to the W-2. Decide that a letter should be drafted to Donna Vicalvi making her aware of this.

A letter should also be put in Chief Mellis’s file regarding his clothing allowance. He was paid the entire amount in advance needs to provide receipts before 6/30/03.

Board discussed a request by Dick Hatch to use his own equipment to clear the sidewalk along the stretch from the Hardware store to the first house on the hill. Dana is aware and sees no problem. Letter should be sent to homeowner to make them aware and if they have any objections to contact Board of Selectmen. The Board has no problem with this as long as Dick Hatch understands that any damage to his equipment is at his own risk.

Appointment 8:00pm Chief Mellis: Review of Goals and Objectives between the Board and the Police Chief.
