MINUTES
October 23, 2002			Town House

Roll Call:	The meeting was called to order at 6:30p.m. Board of Selectmen James D. Smith, Duane Mosier, and Mark Barba were in attendance.

Appointments:

The Board welcomed Michael Sullivan, Amherst Police Sergeant who is the second candidate to be interviewed for the position of Police Chief. Also present were Connie Witt, Suzanne McLaughlin, Charles Kuss.

The Board interviewed Michael Sullivan after opening remarks made by James Smith.

New Business:

Conservation Commission Member

Duane Mosier moved to appoint Michael Girard as a full member of the Conservation Commission effective immediately until 6/30/05. Mark Barba seconded. All in favor and so voted.

Duane Mosier moved, seconded by James Smith to adjourn the meeting. The motion was adopted unanimously (3-0). The meeting adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
