MINUTES
March 8, 2002			Town House
8:15 A.M.			625 Main Street
Roll Call:	The meeting was called to order at 8:20 am Board of Selectmen Austin G. McKeon and Duane Mosier were in attendance. James Smith was out of town.

Guests Present : Beth deSousa and Kathy Pessolano from the Advisory Committee

Those present discussed the Advisory Committee’s progress-to-date in forming the FY 2003 Town budget. Clarification of some items reduced by Advisory was provided and the Board agreed to provide further information on several items.

Several suggestions for alternatives to funding requests were put forward and will be discussed by the Advisory Committee.

Duane reported that the DEP has extended the payment date of the fine assessed to the Town. The new date is May 15, 2002. Duane will provide a checklist of compliance items and deadlines to Conservation Commission and Park and Recreation Boards.

Austin McKeon moved, seconded by Duane Mosier to adjourn the meeting. The motion was adopted unanimously (2-0). The meeting adjourned at 9:50 am
